About

On August 4, Oakland County voters will be asked to approve a Regional Enhancement Millage (REM) for 1.5 mills for six years.

Voting YES will deliver over $700 per student every year for six years to:

  • Prevent cuts and ensure access to art, music, literacy coaches, physical education, extracurriculars, and after-school programs.

  • Make sure every Oakland County student has the support they need to succeed, from literacy resources to career and technical education.

  • Fund more competitive pay for teachers and support staff to recruit and retain the best educators for our students.

Each school in our county faces unique challenges, and this measure offers flexibility for your neighborhood school to dedicate resources where they’re needed most.
